Casual Obelisks

[Characters:] Tori Wakame, Torrey Takadera.
[Location:] Trees outside of the Obelisk blue dorm.
[Summary:] Hey, even sidekicks need some time out. So Tori decides to take some, just to relax...
[Warning:] There be Yaoi further down the comments, ranging from Medium to uh... EXTRA Strong. Ish. If you're sensitive to that sort of thing. Ye be warned!

~~~~~~~
"Finally." Tori thought to himself, securing a place under a large tree. Manjoume-san was wonderful and all, but sometimes, wow. Ego much? Sighing a little to himself the bluenette opened the book he had brought with him, leaning against the oak to begin reading.
Luckily for him, the grounds surrounding the Obelisk dorms were blissfully free of any annoying personalities. Also free of anyone who could recognise the title of the book and what it contained: Lolita, by Vladamir Nabakov. It never ceased to amuse Tori how often people took that the wrong way... It was just a wonderful love story, to people who could understand it.
Settling down he began to read, glasses glinting every so often as he moved to turn the page.
"'Lolita'?"
Torrey hadn't meant to interrupt the other in such a quiet moment to himself, but the seance master just couldn't help it at the sight of the novel being read. He knew that book -- Torrey had read it a few times himself, in-fact, and knew exactly what-sort of novel it was, despite the implications the title had a bad habit of giving. -- and had grown quite fond of the aforementioned author's works.
The brunette's eyes widened a fraction when he had even realized he had spoken, especially to one of Manjoume's "lackeys". He didn't usually associate himself with anyone outside of his closest companions -- Which seemed to sadly consist of two people -- as no one else actually understood his love for the occult. He had heard his fair-share of the mockeries.
"I-I'm sorry.." he stammered for a moment as he fidgeted nervously with the books in his arms - Wicca, Tarot, the Basic Occult - and quickly bowed his head so his hair curtained around his face, obscuring his bi-speckled eyes away. "I didn't mean to disturb you.."
~*~*~*~
(Wah, 'bout time I got around to this..)
Glancing up over the edge of the book as he turned a page, Tori arched an eyebrow at the other boy. The part of him that was tuned to bully-mode quickly assessed him: nervous, shy, trying to avoid eye contact... An all too easy victim. There would almost be no sport in commenting cruelly.
"Yes. Yes, it is." He replied quietly, returning half his attention to the page infront of him. The other half remained on Torrey, making sure he wasn't being too easily scared off. Tori was first to admit; hanging round with Manjoume-san did tend to give one an air of unapproachability. Tori wasn't sure he was too happy about that though.
"Why? Do you know it?"
"And you're welcome." Tori replied easily, picking the book up from Torreys lap delicately and flipping it open. Flicking along to a page near the middle, he seemed to check something before shutting the book again. He had written a few things here and there as little notes, some insightful, some nonsense. Most of them were interesting though.
"...May I have a look through one of your books?" Tori asked after a few minutes of uninterrupted tea drinking. He sounded quiet and was looking down at the bottom of his cup, not too sure he should have asked that. Of course, the lesson Manjoume had taught him (never look uncertain, even if you are. They'll all get to you then) soon kicked in and he looked back up and at Torrey directly. "Please? I wont ruin them."
It startled Torrey that his own books had been mentioned and that Tori had expressed a desire to even look at one of them. People didn't understand, in his opinion, what was written in the books. They immedietly pegged "Satanic worship" onto the occult and Wicca, when neither dealt with it at all.
Torrey smiled weakly as he thought this before he nodded and handed these over. Notebook pages stuck out from them rather precariously, along with a few brightly coloured bookmarks to show important pages to the seance duelist. Each page that was marked generally consisted of a special ritual for his seances, though some just contained basic information.
"Sure.. But.." he trailed off for a moment, then spoke again. "Could i ask why the sudden interest? I mean, you don't have to tell me unless you want to.. It's just that no one ever seems interested in it."
Torrey's cheeks actually flushed at the question. It wasn't offensive at all. It was more.. embarrassing, really. "Well.. erm.. I don't suppose there really is a reason. I don't like it short.."
Subconsciously his hand had trailed to his hair and he fingered it for a moment before pushing part of it behind his ear. "I get teased for this one a bit, though. People say it makes me look like a girl."
"Only from behind." Only half a compliment there, though the tone suggested that the insult only came from inbred mean-genes. "And you don't look like one from the front. So, unless you go round talking to people with your back to them, I should think you're fine." Tori gave a little grin, folding his arms behind his head. Personally, long hair had always been a nuisence on him, hence his own hairstyle. Ah well, no accounting for taste.
"Anyone who mentions it to you, just point out that huge guy in Ra Yellow's hair. They'll soon leave you be."
Tori nodded in what seemed to be understanding, clicking his tongue softly. He had personally thought that Torrey and the other two (whose names he'd previously not heard) were closer then that; seems everyone was making too many assumptions today. Still, it wasn't that hard to believe. He and Goki were never close when Manjoume were around. Infact, it took a fair bit of control on the darkhaired boys part to make sure his two lackeys didn't try to beat eachother to death with their duel disks.
It almost made Tori want to give the other Obelisk a gift. Later though.
"Still, I guess it's good that you found even them. It doesn't seem like an all too common hobby, so anyone with an interest must be a rarity... Hm." Tori sighed, stretching his long frame a bit. It didn't do well to curl up the way he was, but he found it easier to be comfortable ont his sofa that way. He blinked as a thought hit him and gave a snicker.
"I've just thought... There is only one other topic we can hoenstly be on the same level at." He mused thoughtfully, looking at Torrey with a half-sarcastic, half-friendly grin. "Can you guess what it is?"
Torrey watched the other for a moment, unsure of what it could be. Judging by that look, though.. Somehow the grin he was receiving compelled his own lips to twist into a similar grin for a moment. Switching which leg was crossed over which, the brunette let himself dwell on what they could talk about.
They had already spoken of Nabokov, teas, briefly on the occult, and had questioned one another. Things that had formerly been misconceptions had been cleared up.
But Torrey could not think for the life of him what they could talk about that had the other boy grinning like that. "..alright, I've tried to think, and I'm clueless. What is it?"
He wrinkled his nose a little at the thought. Why people felt compelled to do this sort of thing because of their glasses, Torrey would never know nor would be ever understand. That one guy hadn't thought it was funny to take his glasses after the broken nose, though.
"Eww.. I sympathize so much." he gave a weak little smile to the other to display this even more thoroughly. "These sort of things might be cute to someone that could still see afterwards, but I'm blind as a bat once my glasses come off. It's not funny at all."
"Bats are the lucky ones, they have echo-location to get around with." Tori pointed out, envy for the flying creatures evident in his voice. "We, on the other hand, get to stumble around like drunken puppets... Hardly the most alluring of problems." He sighed a little when he was done, shifting round on the Sofa to be a little more comfortable.
It had hardly been his plan that day to make a new friend, or at the very least a conversation companion. Still, looks like Torry had the qualities of both. Now, if only he could convince Manjoume-san to give the brunette a chance. The Seance master could easily have a shot at the higher levels if only he wanted to. Tori gave a little chuckle at the thought; it was rather tempting. He'd have to talk to Manjoume-san about it.
"It.. really does't matter to me." he shook his head as he stood to his feet, tugging on the hem of the Obelisk coat nervously. "I actually don't have anyone to meet for dinner. Tend to not. I usually just have books."
Torrey let his hands raise above his head for a moment, stretching out his limbs, rising up onto his toes to stretch out everything. When he settled again he looked at Tori then smiled again. "I wouldn't expect you to put up with me much longer, though, Wakame-San. I'll go on if you want."
"Put up with?" Tori quoted, giving Torrey a bit of an odd, and slightly despairing look. "For pities sake man, that was probably the most in depth conversation I've had since I got to school this year. You're more then welcome to stay if you like. God knows I have more then enough wine if we need it."
Shrugging a bit Tori stood and stretched his longer frame out; damned sofa tended to eat people at times, he was sure of it.
"I don't mind you staying here. I can order food up from the canteen if you like, or I can cook if you'd rather." From anyone elses point of view, they would think Tori was being rude. Offering to cook for a guest however... Wow. Having a guest at all was a start.
Nodding a bit, Tori picked out a red wine and brought it through alone with two glasses. Setting them down next to the plates he sat himself down on the sofa, motioning for Torrey to sit as well.
"This one should go well with it. I hope." Okay, picking the wine wasn't his strong point but Tori did have a good knack at drinking them. Still, this one was sweet enough to be nice with chicken.
"If it doesn't, we'll just have to get another." Glasses filled he passed one to Torrey, tiltinghis head a bit. "I know we're not allowd it on campus, by the way... So as long as you don't mind the favour of keeping this quiet...?"
Torrey couldn't help but chuckle a bit and look at the other with a grin. "Wakame-San, you now know I conduct illegal Seances on campus. I believe it's only fair trade for me to not mention a petty thing such as wine on campus."
His hand moved out, fingertip tracing along the rim of the glass, his eyes watching the wine inside. He had fibbed the teeniest bit -- He'd made it sound like he had drunk wine dozens of times. That was far from the truth. Torrey had been lucky those few times he had gotten to drink any.
It was due to his less-than-perfect ability to remain sober. The brunette Seance master tended to have a low alcohol tolerance. A very low one.
If I sip it very slowly, I should be fine.. he assured himself. He refused to allow this minor worry creep onto his face, however.
Tori blinked a little at the initial little noise, arching an eyebrow. When the comment came however he could convince himself that Torrey didn't have crazy tastebuds, and that food touching them did not send him into a frenzy of delight. Smiling a bit he nodded his thanks, eating his own delicately. Last time he had spilt a little bit of the sauce on his carpet, well... There had been frenzied scrubbing and cursing for a good two hours until Manjoume-san pointed out he was getting twitchy, and just bleached the place.
"I'm glad you like it. Not... Not many people have actually eaten something I've cooked." He admitted, givinga bit of a 'heh'. "Most people tend to think that since I'm a friend of Manjoume-sans, I've added a laxative or vomit powder or seomthing, and that he's waiting to torment them for it..."
"I'll admit, I thought for a moment that, possibly, it would have poison in it. THen I figured you wouldn't eat it yourself if it did." Torrey smiled at the other, taking more delicate bites now that he had gotten past the initial shock of how good it tasted.
The brunette quickly forgot his promise to himself, however, and his hand idly reached over for the wine glass when he grew thirsty. He did, at least, manage to remind himself at the last moment to just take a sip of the beverage.
Torrey had gasped when the red liquid at his throat had been touched, his instinct trying to force him to jerk back, yet he remained still for the other to touch. In fact, the glasses-wearing brunette couldn't find much of a reason to be too uncomfortable with the other's actions.
He did, however, nod and raise his glass to the other to accept more wine. When had he drunk that much..? Torrey shook this thought off and chose to instead grin at the blunette. "Laburnum seeds, huh? I'll admit, that one is new to me.. I haven't heard of that method before."
"Oh, it's not very well known." Tori replied almost mildly, also unaware of the distinct morbidness of their conversation. Pouring the other boy another glass he grinned a little in return.
"To be honest, the best way to find how to kill someone is to watch crime investigation shows..." He continued, raising his glass in a little toast, thinking a bit until he hit a random one.
"To murder; making new Spirits for Seance masters everyday." The bluenette declared before tipping the glass back and drinking.
"Well... We're half in our school uniform. That's kinda formal." The tone of Tori's voice showed that he agreed that it wasn't quite formal enough and so brought out the chocolate cake, plus knife and plates. Setting the whole thing down on the table he gave a slight snicker.
"I don't expect us to eat all of it, but frankly I want to sit down.." Well... That and he felt he should really. Cutting them each a slice, depsite the edges being a teensy bit wobbly he held out the other boys plate to him. No spoons; the cake wasn't gooey enough to warrent a spoon, so fingers would do for now.
"I'd call it a semi-semi formal." Torrey chuckled as he accepted his plate of cake. For a moment, and just a moment, he blinked at it in confusion when it didn't come with a spoon.
He then decided it really didn't matter and set himself about to picking it up with his fingers in an attempt to be dainty. He discovered very shortly that dainty was a difficult thing to achieve when one's system has been introduced to alcohol.
Tori shook his head to the comment, an amused noise working out of him at the squirm and little whimper that Torrey emitted. The hand on the brunnetes shoulder moved back to his hair to continue the lost massage, a small tug on the shirt before hand gently motioning for Torrey to move closer to allow a better reach.
Hell, Tori even moved a ittle to let Torrey rest against his chest if it was easier.
Torrey wasn't quite sure when he finished scooting himself against the other, his head laying itself comfortably against Tori's chest, practically seeking the contact. He nuzzled his cheek against Tori's chest for a moment then sighed softly, content again, and very unwilling to move unless the bluenette told him to back off.
By this point, though, the brunette figured that would be a wee bit redundant.
Feeling the nuzzle Tori gave a small chuckle, an arm curving round Torrey's waist so that he didn't fall, along with the added bonus of being able to gently tug the brunette closer, almost lying on top of Tori.
Of course, how Torrey was moving his head gave Tori an idea. Cruel, perhaps, but it was there. So, bending his neck to reach, he started to drag his teeth very, very slowly down the shell of the other boys ear, tongue slithering out every so often to dot moisture over the skin. Hot breath followed to blow over the wet spots, Tori humming gently.
Torrey gasped, his spine arching so his form was pressed flush against the bluenette due to the ministrations. Perhaps it was the wine in his system, but the teeth.. tongue.. It all drug a soft moan past the Seance master's lips as his hands desperately took hold of the Tori's shirt.
He needed something to grip, something tangible, to anchor himself down to Earth still.
It had to be the wine that made all of this feel as intense as what it did.
Torrey's tongue and mouth continued their assault for a long while on that one nipple before he decided to switch and give the opposite one some much-needed attention as well. In the meantime, his hands went back to work, his nails gently raking along the blunette's skin to offer an extra sensation.
He gasped, however, when he was pushed down against Tori's leg and the pleasurable sensation washed through his form again. His spine threatened to arch again, and his hips tried to move on their own accord. Underbreath, Torrey cursed his hips for having a mind of their own when they ground against the leg wedged against them. It took more self-control than the brunette was aware he had to stop them for a second time.
It was after this incident, however, that an evil thought entered Torrey's mind. He continued to treat the new nipple with loving care for a long while before he straightened up and away. He removed his hands from Tori, ceased all movement from his hips, and just grinned at the blunette. Didn't matter that aforementioned teen was nothing more than a blur at that moment, he still got a sense of victory.
Tori had been fully enjoying all the sensations, and dimly registered that they were fading. Then gone. Why, what, who? Opening his eyes with a whine Tori propped himself up on his elbows, looking up at the brunette-smudge that was Torrey.
After a few seconds of pouting and looking up at him with an appealing expression, Tori decided that it obviously wasn't going to work. So, sinking back onto his back to fiegn innocence and surrender, he tensed a second... Before pushing off the sofa, hands out to Torreys shoulders to tip him over and pin him to the sofa instead. The Bluenette was careful to shift his leg as he toppled them though; that would have been painful otherwise.
Torrey would later agree that Tori's tongue could, indeed, earn a teaching degree with what it was doing.. He made another, slightly softer, sound of delight with this. His mouth opened even wider, if that was possible, to accommodate the schooling he was getting. If this was how he learned everything, Torrey could proudly say that he would pay plenty of attention in class. He could only wonder what extra-curricular activities would be like..
The brunette wanted to giggle over his own thoughts, he really did, but Tori's hand did.. did that. His spine arched again at the sensation and he gave a cry of pleasure into the kiss he shared with Tori. His eyes even snapped open for a moment before they fluttered shut again. It felt.. overwhelming for a moment.. but in such a good way..
Tori couldn't help it; he smirked into the kiss and swirled his tongue sligtly before diving more into the kiss, hardly willing to give up for a second. Vigourous lessons were always ones remembered, so Tori was making full sure that Torrey wouldn't forget these ones. Hell, he might even demand homework.
Purring a bit at the reactions, Tori tightening his grip a miniscule amount, placing his thumb over the head and moving it in tiny circles, teasing the slit as his hand moved up and down, at an almost cruelly slow pace.
Torrey hadn't coherently heard the compliment delivered to him (But if he had he would have blushed), nor did he really understand what was going on for another few minutes. His head was too light, even at that moment for him to hold it up on his own. So he merely let Tori move him until he came back to earth.
He blinked his dark eyes a few times in the attempt to bring the blue-haired teen into focus before a small, soft little smile slid across his lips and he nuzzled against Tori. He was grateful he wasn't being tossed out on his rump at he moment. Infact, exceedingly grateful.
"Wamake-San.." he murmured quietly, contently, his eyes closing as he relished the hold.
"Mm?" Shifting to the side of the other boy, arms wound around his waist, Tori nuzzled a bit at Torreys neck with a light kiss here and there. He couldn't even be bothered to correct the 'Wamake' part that kept cropping up, instead prefering to give a purr and snuggle.
He wasn't planning on sleeping on the sofa though, nor was he going to let his guest do so. However, a few minutes to let them both relax would be nice before he relocated them to his bedroom. Mainly because his bedroom was heated and the sitting room wasn't as much...
It was the poor Seance master that, come morning, was the first to stirr. He didn't honestly want to wake up (Something about having tea and talking about the "proper" use of cabin boys with a pirate captain that, strangely enough, resembled Tori was just too nice to abandon so quickly -- 'specially when he was the cabin boy in question), but damn his body if it didn't demand for his eyes to open.
The world was blurred, as Torrey would have naturally have suspected, and everything seemed a bit clearer. The bed didn't exactly feel like his own, and he had been warmer than usual.. Slowly he sat up, abandoning his warm-spot in the process, to rub at his eyes.. until the earth-splitting headache settled in and he cursed softly underbreath, hands sliding up to nurse the sides of his head. It ached something awful and.. and..
..this was not his bed.
Around then memories of the night crashed into his head and Torrey whipped his head back around (Much too fast, as both it and his stomach protested) to stare at Tori. He had.. with.. Oh, God.. He groaned softly, continuing to nurse his headache. He only hoped that Tori would remember and not kill him for the previous night.
Tori, having been safely wrapped up in his own little dreams, was rather worrid when he felt the bed shift and heard a low groan soon after. Translated in his dream, this meant that the elephant he was riding had suddenly suffered heart failure, fell over and died with a loud trumpeting noise. Not a pleasent thing to make your eyes struggle open to.
The bluenette was vaugely aware, as far as he could surmise, that something warm had vacated from near him, made an odd noise... And by the feel of it, something else was inside his head trying it's damnedest to get out by bashing a blunt object against his skull. Giving a shudder and growl, the Obelisk promptly tried to bury his head under his pillow, shivering.
Before pausing and tensing a little. As far as life had taught him, the symptoms were thus: Headache from hell; Dizzyness; Dry mouth; inexplicable feeling of hatred towards things with pulses... And a warm body in his bed. Diaganosis? He got drunk and brought a girl back to his dorm. Well, best check if she was a looker he thought, lifting the corner of the pillow to peek out...
Only to discover a very male looking fellow Obelisk looking back at him.
The look on what could be seen of Toris face could only be described by three words: What. The. Fuck.
"Uh.." The most eloquent line in the history of waking up, and it was uttered by a damned confused Tori.
Feeling the flinch, Tori had been fully prepared to move back... Until Torrey responded with more then just a little jump of what Tori now assumed to be shock. Well, that was a tad more reassuring then a wince, that was for certain.
Bringing his other hand up to gently run through the other boys damp hair (for he remembered that, at least, was welcomed) before down to cup his jaw, tilting his own head so that their glasses didn't clash in terrible and nasty ways.
Tori finished the kiss after a few moments with a slow feathering of his tongue over the teens closed lips before pulling back a bit, both hands were they were comfortable.
He initiated that kiss, it was only fair that Torrey speak first.
Torrey remained quiet for a few moments after the kiss had ended, his tongue darting out to touch his lower lip from time to time, almost as if checking to see that it had happened, much as he had in the begining. He continued to study Tori, watching and waiting for any obvious signs before he decided to, indeed, speak.
"..what do we want to do?" he spoke a little too softly and he cleared his throat and hsook his head before trying again. "I mean, I have no problems, but then again.." he gazed down for a moment, then lifted his gaze. "..then again, I'm not friends with someone like Manjoume like you are. I forsee it as a bit of an issue."
Sure, it was stating a bit of the obvious, but he figured if they talked through it they could come to a rational solution now.
After a few mouthfuls with continued happy looks, Tori took a slight breather. In that time, he shifted over a little to be sitting more snugly against the other boy, a little nudge in thanks for the food occuriong. Til he realised that wasn't polite and revised his plan.
Waiting til Torrey had no danger of choking, Tori ,eant over a bit, nuzzled his cheek and landed a soft kiss there with a purr of thanks before going back to his meal.
The way to a grumpy Obelisks heart (or at least some of the arteries leading to it; there was still a journey yet!) certainly did seem to be through his stomach.
A fleeting blush had sittered across Torrey's cheeks and he did realize that, yes, that was a display of praise. He had done well. This was backlogged into his memory for use again -- Tori enjoyed food. Liked good food.
It appeared that Torrey would be picking up books that didn't deal with the paranormal, for once.
This mental note was finished, signed, and dated in his head as he continued to eat his own food in comfortable silence with the other teenager. It was a good sign, he figured. Now, if he would stay away from all butcherings of the name "Wakame" and never, ever call him Tori-Chan again, he should be fine.
